Willson Eduardo Contreras is a popular Venezuelan professional baseball catcher for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball(MLB). He previously played in Major League Baseball(MBL) for the Chicago Cubs. Willson made his MLB debut in 2016 and was a member of the 2016 World Serie champions. He was voted as a starter in the MLB All-Star Game in 2018, 2019 to 2022.

Willson signed with the Chicago Cubs as an international free agent in 2009. The same year, he made his professional debut with the Dominican Summer League Cubs. Willson loses 205 in 29 games at age of 17. He batted 313 in 17 games at the age of 18 with then in 2010. Willson played with the Boise Hawks from 2011 to 2012.
