Jasmina Alston is an American journalist for CBS 46. She was previously a multimedia journalist covering local and state politics for WDHN News, the ABC affiliate in Dothan, Alabama.
Jasmin is a graduate of Georgia State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism with a focus on telecommunications and a minor in Arabic.
Alston was originally in print journalism, Jasmina wrote for Georgia State University’s student newspaper The Signal. She then switched to broadcast journalism after joining the university’s student-run news station, GSTV. There, she both anchored and reported.
