Brittany was previously a Reporter, Anchor, and Traffic Anchor at KLAS in Las Vegas, NV. She was also a reporter and fill-in anchor in Greensboro, NC at WXLV-Channel 45.
Edney attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications in 2009. It was the same year that UNC-Chapel Hill won the National Championship in basketball.
At UNC-Chapel Hill, she interned for both CNN Headline News in Atlanta, GA, and WTVD-TV in Raleigh/Durham, NC. Edney is also working towards her Broadcast Meteorology certificate at Mississippi State University.
