Carol Goldsmith is an American journalist who serves as a news anchor working for WYFF News 4, broadcasting out of Greenville, South Carolina. She also serves the upstate of South Carolina, western North Carolina, and northeastern Georgia. Goldsmith also worked as an anchor and reporter in Marquette, Michigan, and Rochester, New York. A brush with frostbite in Rochester made her realize living in a warmer climate might suit her better after all.
Carol is a native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Clarke has anchored and reported for WYFF-TV since 1985. Clarke co-anchors the six and 11 o’clock newscasts for WYFF-TV, weekdays. She is also a health and medical reporter.
Carol loves to sing. She’s an alto in her church choir and its Schola Cantorum, the South Carolina Bach Choir and Concordia, a group that performs ecclesiastical music. She’s an avid reader, hiker, and loves to get out on the golf course.
