Mike Haddad Biography
Mike Haddad is an American Chief Meteorologist for WMUR-TV News 9. He began working at ABC9 as a weekend weather anchor. Mike quickly moved to weather anchor of News 9 Daybreak and News 9 at Noon. In July of 1998, Mike was promoted to Chief Meteorologist.
His deep interest in weather began during the time of the “Great Blizzard of 1978” (a storm that kept him out of school for one whole week). After his graduation, he became an assistant teacher for two years at Penn State.
In March of 1993, Mike started working at WMUR-TV ABC9 as a weekend weather anchor. He quickly moved to weather anchor of News 9 Daybreak and News 9 at Noon. In July of 1998, Mike was promoted to Chief Meteorologist. You can catch him weekday evenings on WMUR News 9 at 5:00, WMUR News 9 at 6:00, and WMUR News 9 Tonight at 11 pm.
Mike broadcasts weather for The Mill, 96.5 FM radio. In addition to TV and radio, he represents WMUR-TV in visits to New Hampshire schools and other organizations for weather presentations. He also takes part in the annual Penguin Plunge to support Special Olympics New Hampshire.

Haddad graduated from U-Mass (Lowell) with a B.S. in Meteorology and later an internship at WHDH in Boston. He proceeded to Penn State to get his master’s in Meteorology where he graduated in the Spring of 1993.
