A Career from 2002 to 2015
When Morris was 11 years old, she started touring her home state of Texas. While her father acted as her manager and booking agent. She often played in the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, where she played bars and clubs. Maren took her first plane trip alone to attend a Grammy camp in 2005, where she got to meet music industry insiders at music workshops. When she was 15 years old in 2005, she released her debut studio album titled Walk On. Smith Music released her second studio album titled All That It Takes in 2007. In her late teens, she auditioned for a series of television music competition programs including; America’s Got Talent, American Idol, Nashville Star, and The Voice.
